Why are AMERICANS BLAMED FOR BEING STOOPID?

I am from the school of thought that you cannot call the whole culture and society silly if one group is acting and behaving in a silly way......so I began my search to understand the american culture, well not that there is one but to understand if what Michael Moore and Sacha Baron aka BOORAT are trying to say in their documentaries and why the term " dumb americans is becoming more and more common, and this is what I discovered.

TAMPA, Fla. – Florida police say a man arrested for repeatedly calling 911 looking for sex claimed it was the only number he could dial after running out of cell phone minutes. Tampa police said 29-year-old Joshua Basso made sexual comments to the 911 dispatcherand asked if he could come to her house. Investigators say she hung up, but he called back four more times.

He was arrested about 15 minutes later at his home late Wednesday and charged with making a false 911 call. Basso reportedly told officers that he didn't think he would get in trouble for calling 911.

Tampa jail records show Basso is being held without bond but don't indicate whether he has an attorney. He is listed as unemployed with arrests for theft and other crimes dating back to 2001.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska – A 27-year-old Anchorage man has been convicted of robbing his mother at gunpoint because she didn't give him money to help pay a $430 parking ticket. The Anchorage district attorney said Friday that Cheng Saelee was also convicted of illegally contacting his mother from jail and trying to get her to drop the charges.

Prosecutor Gustaf Olson said Saelee was arrested in November 2008 after he became angry during an argument with his parents, got a handgun from his room and pointed the weapon at his mother's head.

He was scheduled to be sentenced Feb. 19 and faces up to 12 years in prison.

Olson said Saelee might also be deported to Thailand after he serves his sentence.

The ticket was for abandoning a vehicle.

An interesting festival that tales place down south in USA is called Testicle Festival here is what they say about the festival:MMMMontana tendergroin...cowboy caviar...critter fritters. Come have a ball, or two, or two dozen at Montana's Original Testicle Festival. This all-out, five-day fest is held every September at the Rock Creek Lodge....What started out in 1982 as a quirky culinary celebration of Rocky Mountain Oysters (bull balls) for 300 has turned into a 15,000-person R-rated, knock-em-down, drag-em-out party. "Yep, there's lots of gratuitous nudity, so this is no place for the kids. There are also events for the clothed, such as Bullshit Bingo, where people buy a square on a huge grid for $5. Every time the bull shits, somebody wins $100. For the thousands of Harley riders who show up every year, there's the Biker Ball Biting Contest. Lincoln explains, "It's a fishing pole kind of affair. We put a Rocky Mountain Oyster on a clip attached to the line hanging over the street. And girls on the back of a bike try to bite the ball as they pass without using their hand.
